Australia International Trade Association visited China National Tourism Office in Sydney and Chinese embassy in Canberra



High-level dialogues on Australasia China Cities Summits & Business Forum China As Guest Nation at Royal Melbourne Show took place on 20th June at China National Tourism Office (CNTO) in Sydney attended by Luo Weijian, Director of CNTO, Brad Jenkins, general manager of Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria and Michael Guo, CEO of Australia International Trade Association. Director Luo gave insights on CNTOs participation in 2017 China As Guest Nation at Royal Melbourne Show and Mr. Jenkins agreed on offering premium location within exhibition Pavilion.
    On the 21st June, Michael Guo and Brad Jenkins visited Huang Rengang, Councellor General of Chinese embassy in Canberra, Australia. Michael Guo first gave a brief introduction of Australia International Trade Association and then expressed firm determination to facilitate and promote Australasia China Cities Summits & Business Forum China as Guest Nation at Royal Melbourne Show.

During the meeting with Councellor Huang and the one with Director Luo, exchanges and collaboration between Australia and China by hosting events with the facilitation of AITA are highly appreciated, with a mutual purpose which is to advance the economic growth and the friendship between the two countries and peoples.

Hainan Provincial Delegation successfully attended the agriculture forum in Australia, signed cooperation agreement with RASV and AITA



Organized by Australia International Trade Association (AITA), Hainan agricultural delegation as guest of honor, have successfully attended the agriculture forum at Victoria Parliament House in Australia on 19th June 2017.
This year, over 70 people attended the Agriculture Forum & Luncheon,including 40 governments officials and entrepreneurs from Hainan delegation and more than 30 Australian representatives from Austrade, Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources, The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), Victoria Farmers Federation, Invest Victoria, Australian Institute of Food Science&Tech, Ausveg, Wyndham City Council and City of Monash and many local companies.
At the forum, Michael Guo, CEO of Australia International Trade Association, started the opening remark and introduced the cohensive exchanges and cooperation in terms of economy, trade, and investment between Australia and China and have reaped fruitful achievements since 2009 including Australia China City Summit& Business Forum China As Guest Nation at Royal Melbourne Show. After that, representatives from China and Australia also delivered speeches on investment and trade, sustainable agriculture, organic food, ecological farming, agriculture products processing and agriculture products processing and shared their insights on future collaboration prospects.
On this day, AITA, RASV and Hainan Provincial Green Agricultural Products Exporting Association (GAPEA) have reached a consensus and successfully signed a cooperation agreement, with the purpose of developing bilateral ties in the exchanges and cooperation between RASV and China at all levels.
At last, Michael Guo is engaged as Honorary President by Hainan Provincial Green Agricultural Products Exporting Association, in order to strengthen the relationship and friendship and make the most of this grand annual event and reap the benefits for both Chinese and Australian associations and companies.

Hainan Provincial Delegation successfully exhibited at Fieldays NZ organized by Australia International Trade Association.



 
         This year, Australia International Trade Association set up a China--Hainan Pavillion Exhibition at New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays, an annual farming and agricultural trade show, the largest in New Zealand and the Southern Hemisphere, with around 40 participants from 19 companies in the field of Animal and Husbandry, advanced technology in production and processing, fresh-keeping techniques of storage and transport, biotechnology, planting techniques, breeding techniques and embryo techniques, green agriculture and agriculture development.

 

     Peter Nation, CEO of Fieldays, Nick Dromgool, the general manager and Jim Grennell, the international business executive received Hainan delegation and Michael Guo, CEO of AITA received the delegation on the first day. Michael Guo hopes AITA can play an essential role in organizing more Chinese delegations to Fieldays in 2018.

         After the meeting with the senior managers of National Fieldays Society, Hainan delegation joined the opening ceremony of Fieldays on June 14 2017. A wide range of Ministers and MPs attended the Fieldays including Acting Prime Minister Paula Bennett and Ministers Steven Joyce, Simon Bridges, Jonathan Coleman, Paul Goldsmith, Louise Upston, and David Bennett.
